HBCU D2 Football Coaches Poll: JCSU remains unanimous No. 1; shifts in poll

D2 Poll Week 8 notes:

  • Johnson C. Smith is a unanimous No. 1 selection for the third straight week
  • No. 3 Winston-Salem State attains its highest ranking ever, having won five of its last six, including Saturday’s win over Livingstone
  • Miles makes the most significant jump, up three spots to No. 4 this week, having won five straight with the win over previous No. 3 Clark Atlanta; CAU dropped to No. 6
  • Tuskegee has won four in a row and reenters the poll at No. 10

In its third year, the HBCU Division II Coaches Poll is administered by BOXTOROW, and is voted on by the HBCU NCAA Division II coaches.
