She’s a Floridian and graduated from the University of Florida’s journalism college in 2023, where she wrote and served as metro editor for the student-run newspaper, The Independent Florida Alligator. Her work has been recognized by the Hearst Journalism Awards, the Online News Association and the Society of Environmental Journalists.
