Calhoun County summer reading program nears end
Calhoun County students on summer vacation have been having fun at the county’s library this summer. Students have participated in tie-dying, beading, name painting, and other creative take-home activities. They also could “adopt” a stuffed hedgehog as long as they promised to read to it for 15 minutes each day. Remaining events include a mural activity on July 10 at 1 p.m. and Bingo on July 16 at 1 p.m.
