Brittany Danielle Layton and Michael Charles Rooks

Mr. and Mrs. Danny Layton of Baconton, proudly

announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage

of their daughter Brittany Danielle Layton to

Michael Charles Rooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles

Rooks of Pelham. The bride-elect is the granddaughter

of Mr. and Mrs. George William Faircloth of

Baconton and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Layton of

Pelham. She is a 2006 graduate of Pelham High

School and a 2010 graduate of Valdosta State University

with a Bachelors of Science in Middle Grades

Education. She is presently employed at Lee County

Middle School. The future groom is the grandson of

the late Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rooks of Camilla, and the

late Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Pollock of Pelham. He is a

2006 graduate of Pelham High School. He is

presently employed at Albany Tractor Company. The

wedding is planned for June 9, 2012.
