Evert-Smith

Dr. and Mrs. Michael Bernard Evert of Greenville, S.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, to Robert Hudson Smith of Albany. Hudson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Riley Smith of Albany. The bride-elect is the granddaughter or Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Paul Brown of San Jose, California; Mr. John Michael Evert of Rosslough Dundalk, Ireland; and the late Mrs. Berniece Hattie Evert. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Ervin Stimpson of Americus and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clinton Smith of Albany.

Miss Evert is a graduate of Christ Church Episcopal School and Furman University. She received her Masters of Science in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. She is associated with the accounting firm of Elliott Davis in Greenville. Mr. Smith is a graduate of Deerfield-Windsor School and Furman University. He attends Emory University School of Law. The wedding is planned for December 17, 2011, at Christ Church Episcopal.
