Mr. and Mrs. William Callier Pate of Albany are

pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter,

Julie Alison Pate, to Samuel George Evans of Atlanta,

Ga. Mr. Evans is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George

Howard Evans of Savannah, Ga.

The bride-elect is the sister of Mrs. Stephanie Roberts

of Milledgeville. Her grandparents are Mrs. Emogene

Burnum Jarvis Kirkland of Camilla, the late Mr. Sidney

Coplin Jarvis of Baker County, the late Mr. James Edgar

Kirkland of Abbeville, Ala., Mrs. Harvey Jackson Pate,

and the late Mr. Pate, both of Albany. She is the greatniece

of Mrs. James William Nesbitt and the late Mr.

Nesbitt of Albany and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Clyde

Keeffe of Nashville, Ga.

Miss Pate is a graduate of St. Teresa Catholic School

in Albany and Lee County High School in Leesburg. She

earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in

Marketing from Valdosta State University where she was

a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She earned a Master
