Weatherly Allison Walden and Thomas Riner Gay

James and Sue McConnell of Leesburg, GA are pleased

to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter

Weatherly Allison Walden of Athens, GA to Thomas Riner

Gay he is the son of Thomas W. & Bobbie Gay of Albany.

Weatherly is also the daughter of the late John Allison

Walden, Jr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rudy and Dorthy

Rigsby and the late John Allison Walden Sr., and Gertie

Spann and the late Ben Spann. She is a 2002 graduate of

Westover High School and a 2010 graduate of Gainesville

State College. She is employed at Clarke Central High

School as a Special Education Teacher.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Jane Medders of

Sylvester and the late Lloyd Medders and the late Charles

Robert Riner, Sr. and the late Luther Gay and the late Mattie

Lou Gay, also of Sylvester. He is a 2003 graduate of

Deerfield Windsor School and then went on to the University

of Georgia where he was a member of Kappa Sigma

Fraternity and graduated in 2007. Riner is employed as an

Associate Broker at Carriage House Realty.

The wedding is planned for May 5, 2012 at First Baptist

of Albany.
