ALBANY — AB&T announced recently the promotions of two associates to important roles within the bank, with Alexis Williams being named branch manager and Allison “Alli” Edwards named a relationship banker, officials at the bank announced..

As branch manager, Williams will continue forging and expanding client relationships, build on AB&T’s solid operational foundation, imagine the future of an AB&T standard branch, and keep pushing to attain the bank’s vision of being the industry’s gold standard.

“With an inherent leadership ability, Alexis is a recognized resource in the branch,” AB&T CEO Perry Revell said in a news release. “While on the universal banker desk, she developed a strong rapport with clients, becoming an advisor for those she served. In the branch, she was instrumental in developing and documenting AB&T’s branch banking standard, positioning us for sustained success while playing a vital role in training and developing our team.”

As a relationship banker, Edwards will continue managing a consumer and business client portfolio that includes strengthening and growing existing client relationships, while also seeking additional opportunities throughout the community.

“Alli has worked hard to build connections and trust, to learn, and to contemplate ways to blend her growing skillset with the bank’s objectives,” Revell said. “She has dedicated herself to the mission and vision, actively studying to bolster her understanding credit, lending and underwriting, as well as the mortgage process, to further our ability to impact our clients and community.”
