CARTER SCHEDULE
President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday school on Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church, 148 Georgia Highway 45 North, Plains. The Sunday school class starts at 10 a.m. and is preceded by an orientation period at 9 a.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. The church building opens at 7:30 a.m. Please note Carter’s schedule is subject to change. Visit the church website at www.mbcplains.org.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Christian Life Missionary Baptist Church, 3980 Gillionville Road, will conduct a giveaway for storm victims noon-3 p.m. Saturday. Items will include food, blankets, paper towels and others.
SPECIAL SERVICES
Kingdom of Heaven Ministries, 132 Upper River Road, Americus, continues is fifth anniversary celebration with a 7 p.m. worship service Friday with Apostle David Holt and Shabach International Ministries, Macon/Americus in charge of services. The church anniversary banquet is at 7 p.m. Saturday, with 4 p.m. Sunday worship services featuring Pastor Antonio Screen and The Alive Center, Albany.
