CARTER SCHEDULE

President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday school on Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church, 148 Georgia 45 Highway North, Plains. The Sunday school class starts at 10 a.m. and is preceded by an orientation period at 9 a.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. The church building opens at 7:30 a.m. Please note Carter’s schedule is subject to change. Visit the church website at www.mbcplains.org.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Greater Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 115 Forrest St., Thomasville, will conduct its annual senior citizens Christmas dinner at 5 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Gregory Harris of Living A Believer’s Life Ministry in Albany will be the guest speaker.

Central Baptist Church of Albany, 1618 W. 3rd Ave., will have Live Nativity presentations 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Two presentations each evening tell the story of the birth of Jesus. Each presentation concludes with Santa kneeling at the manger. Santa will be available for free photos. Refreshments will be served. Free admission. Contact the church office at (229) 436-7263.

MUSIC

Gillionville Baptist Church, 4614 Gillionville Road, will present a selection of songs from the Christmas Musical “What Kind of Throne” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Children’s ministry is provided for birth through fifth grade.
