CARTER SCHEDULE

President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday school today at Maranatha Baptist Church, 148 Georgia Highway 45 North, Plains. The Sunday school class starts at 10 a.m. and is preceded by an orientation period at 9 a.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. The church building opens at 7:30 a.m. Please note Carter’s schedule is subject to change. Visit the church website at www.mbcplains.org.

SPECIAL SERVICES

Greater Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 115 Forrest St. in Thomasville will celebrate the Pastor’s Aide Ministry anniversary March 25 at 3 p.m. Guest pastor for the service will be Christopher C. Wilson, and the guest church in charge of the celebration is Thankful New Jersey Missionary baptist Church of Baxley. The public is invited. Bishop Tremaine O. Alford is Greater Pilgrim pastor.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Greater Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 115 Forrest St. in Thomasville will host its annual Family and Friends Day April 29 at 11 a.m. The theme of the celebration is “Families Loving God and Then Themselves.” Pastor McKebia Bray and Greater New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Albany will serve as guest pastor and church during Family and Friends Day. Bishop Tremaine O. Alford is Greater Pilgrim pastor.
