ALBANY — Albany Technical College encourages the community to join in celebrating the grand opening of Titans Culinary Cuisine and to experience the culinary excellence of its students.

Titan’s is a brand-new dining experience that promises to tantalize taste buds and provide a unique dining experience. Patrons will be afforded the opportunity to savor culinary creations from around the world. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the restaurant will take place on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Logistics Education Center, Room 107. The grand opening of Titan’s Culinary Cuisine marks a significant milestone for the college and the culinary arts program.

The event will feature a short program with speakers and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour of the restaurant. Guests will have the chance to indulge in light refreshments and get a sneak peek of the dishes that Titans Culinary Cuisine has to offer.

“Titans Culinary Cuisine represents the dedication and hard work of our culinary arts students and faculty,” Dean Tomekia Cooper, who oversees academic affairs at Albany Tech, said in a news release. “This restaurant serves as a testament to the talent that exists within our college. We look forward to welcoming the community to experience the culinary delights that our students have prepared.”

ATC President Emmett Griswold also will share remarks during the event, highlighting the significance of this restaurant to the college’s commitment to excellence in education and work force development.

Matthew Beard, the program chair for the culinary arts program, will provide insights into the culinary journey that students have undertaken in creating this unique dining experience.

The restaurant will officially open its doors to the public on Oct. 19 and will be open every Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Guests can enjoy a delightful dining experience for just $18, which includes an entrée, dessert, and a beverage option of tea or water. For a few dollars more, guests can indulge in the restaurant’s signature punch or a mocktail.
