RECIPE: Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Make sure to marinate the beef for this stir-fry as long as Diana suggests. It soaks up the delicious marinade and adds the perfect Asian flavor to the dish. The broccoli is crunchy and a nice contrast to the tender meat. Serve over rice for an Asian-inspired meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef cut into 1/4 inch strips, 2 inches long
  • 3 c broccoli florets
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Tamari sauce
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lg egg white, beaten until frothy
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  • 2 Tbsp sherry wine
  • 1/4 c oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
