LETTER TO THE EDITOR: What’s in store for 2024?

To the Editor:
The world is on edge. We feel a tremor that precedes the earthquake. Uncertainty and insecurity fill the hearts of many thinking people. Jesus foretold that in the final end times, “Men’s hearts would fail because of fear of what lies ahead.” It seems that that time has arrived.
The moral degeneration and corruption of a society sends shock waves around the world. The Middle East is again on the front page. Some people feel that when Israel is attacked, God is attacked. Christianity is being attacked. Our values are being undermined. I personally believe that a Third World War is unavoidable. Civilization has taken sides for or against Biblical and Godly values. The side you take will determine your final destiny.
The spirit of lawlessness is ushering in the reign of the “lawless one” the “antichrist.” Some Christians are expecting a quick exit to avoid the persecution and tribulation but are deceived. Be armed and warned. Preparing for heaven is praiseworthy, but preparing to stand firm for your faith is imperative.
A house divided cannot stand. No matter who wins the election, we are divided. Light and darkness are clearly distinguished. Truth and error, justice and injustice. The walls are fallen, not only on our southern border, sparking an invasion, but our moral walls are falling, and many can’t see the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, truth or lies. So what to do? Get ready. Most importantly get on God’s side.
