ALBANY — Cpl. Ethan Quinn showed off his best bud at Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany with a military working dog demonstration at the Oaks at Oakland Plantation, a senior living community.

Quinn showed an appreciative and enthusiastic audience how the base’s K-9 units are trained and how they are vital to the security of the Marine base.

After his demonstration, the excited senior residents expressed their appreciation and peppered Quinn with a number of questions. Quinn, who is the base’s military working dog handler, concluded the event by playing an uplifting song on his guitar.

MCLB-Albany officials said the demonstration is part of the base’s public outreach efforts, which keep the installation connected with the community.
