DOUGHERTY

Jan. 30

Panera Bread, 815 N. Westover Blvd.

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violations: Observed wiping cloths stored in solution that did not contain any quaternary ammonia sanitizer. PIC had employees make fresh sanitizer at 200 PPM. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed utensils near the three compartment sink that were stacked directly while wet so that air drying was not encouraged. PIC had employee rewash utensils and stack them properly. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Remarks: Plus/minus 3 degrees Fahrenheit allowed for thermometer accuracy. Discussed drink dispensers. Discussed thermometer. Discussed hierarchy of storage.

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant No. 4437, 2701 Dawson Road

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violations: Observed wiping cloths stored in sanitizer solution that was at a concentration above 500 PPM. PIC has employee make fresh sanitizer at 200 PPM. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed utensils near the mechanical ware washing machine that were stacked directly while wet, so that air drying was not encouraged. Discussed proper utensil drying and stacking with PIC. New Violation.

Remarks: Plus/minus 3 degrees Fahrenheit allowed for thermometer accuracy. Discussed food labels. Discussed dumpster. A produce delivery was received during the inspection. Discussed checking receiving temps of produce to ensure proper receiving.

Feb. 1

BJ’s Buffet & Catering, 2401 Dawson Road, Suite A

Score: 90, Grade: A

Violations: Observed no written policy to demonstrate how employees comply with reporting responsibilities and proper restriction/exclusion. Gave PIC another copy of the employee health policy. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed no hand cleanser provided at the hand sink in the back of the kitchen near the walk in coolers. PIC had employee place hand soap at the hand sink. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed no hand drying provision provided at the hand sink near the walk in coolers. PIC had employee place paper towels at the hand sink. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed hand sink in the back of the kitchen near the walk in coolers was inaccessible due to a table being stored in front of the sink. PIC moved the table. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed no written procedure for handling the cleanup of vomit/fecal incidents on file in the facility. Gave PIC another copy of the form. Corrected On-Site. Repeat Violation. Observed utensils in the ware washing area that were not being sanitized due to ware washing machine not dispensing chlorine sanitizer. Utensils were also not being sanitized in the 3 compartment sink due to the sanitizer bucket being empty. Employee replaced sanitizer bucket and sanitizer was dispensed at the 3 comp sink, but the PIC put in an order to have the mechanical ware washing machine serviced. New Violation.

Pines Personal Care Home, 2121 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violations: Observed fume hood needs to clean to remove dust build up; PIC will have fume hood cleaned. New Violation.

Sandtrap Lounge & Club-Bar Only, 1412 Radium Springs Road

Score: 95, Grade: A

Violations: Observed the hand washing sink being used for utensil washing. PIC removed the utensils from the hand sink. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. Observed soiled receptacle for refuse not cleaned at a frequency necessary to prevent the developing of buildup of soil or becoming attractants for insects and rodents. PIC will have the area cleaned. New Violation.

Remarks: Plus/minus degrees Fahrenheit allowed for thermometer accuracy. Discussed that the establishment remove the grill from the premises and not serve food to the customers. Only drinks will be served.

Feb. 2

Casa Tapatia Mexican Restaurant, 108 N. Slappey Blvd.

Score: 92, Grade: A

Violations: Observed fume hood above stovetop needs cleaning; PIC will have fume hood cleaned. New Violation. Observed sanitizer bucket stored near drinking glasses and sweet tea; PIC removed sanitizer bucket. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Domino’s Pizza, 2405 Dawson Road

Score: 100, Grade: A

Violations:

Riverfront Bar-B-Q Mobile Unit No. 2, 1533 S. U.S. Highway 19, Leesburg

Score: 94, Grade: A

Violations: Observed that the PIC did not have a copy of the Employee Health Policy. PIC was given a copy of the policy. New Violation. Observed that the food establishment did not have a procedure for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events. PIC was given a copy of the vomiting/fecal clean up procedure. New Violation. Observed the most current inspection report was not prominently displayed for the public to view. PIC will post new inspection. Repeat Violation.

Remarks: No PHF being prepared during inspection.

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violations: Observed no soap or paper towels provided at hand sink; PIC provided soap and paper towels for hand sink. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Albany Pretzel Bakery c/o Auntie Anne’s, 2601 Dawson Road, Suite C-3

Score: 96, Grade: A

Violations: Observed food in the reach in cooler that were exposed to contamination by being stored with employee’s personal food items. Discussed proper separation of personal food items from the food for sale. New Violation. Observed outside garbage receptacles were not closed with tightly fitting lids due to lids being broken or missing. Spoke with the management office in the mall about having all broken or missing dumpster lids replaced. New Violation.
