How can the unemployment rate increase in Albany when so many businesses are looking to hire employees?

Insurrection? You blind? I watched it; I saw it. When you carry Confederate flags, assault police and attempt to destroy the Capitol building, the very fabric of America, and stop a legal election, that’s not a farce but a felony. We need dolts like you to leave. Our country would be better without traitors like you.

Carlton was right on with his editorial Sunday. Good people, honest people and trustworthy people do not run for public office in today’s world. From small-town city councilmen to the president of the U.S., good people do not run for office. Just not worth putting up with.

Lucille Lannigan should do a more thorough research about the Pigford-Glickman bill concerning black farmers. 400 black farmers were to receive $50,000 each in 1997. Shirley Sherrod spearheaded a second effort for more money while employed by the USDA, a fraud enabled solely because she screamed racism.

Another B.J. rant. Every few days, it’s like someone slipping a roofie in your drink, chanting crap in you ear in hopes that when you wake you’ll believe the crap you were fed and act on it. I am not drinking it, will you?

Here we go again with more revisionist history. Biden can’t be “the worst president this country has ever seen.” That sole distinction belongs to Trump. What about twice-impeached, insurrection inciting at the Capitol, and multiple indictments in four different states puts Trump “on the level with Reagan?”

Congratulations Albany and area Alphas on the 117th anniversary celebration. Good men doing good things for their community for more than a century.

Trump borrowed one million from his father and turned that into a multibillion-dollar empire with valuable real estate in USA and abroad. If that’s a failed businessman, there are many who would love to be that kind of failure. He lost when he became POTUS but is still worth at least $2.6 billion according to Forbes.

Exactly what is more prejudicial than establishing voting districts that favor one group over another? The power of the vote controls the government.

I’m not a big UGA fan, but I do enjoy watching college football. What difference does it make if “Georgia has a habit of giving up early scores and falling behind in almost every game?” They’re undefeated. The game with ‘Bama should be a great one to watch. Roll, Tide.

Like the man who wasn’t there in the poem “Antigonish,” we chase “racism,” throwing money into combatting what isn’t there in hopes of finding some that can justify keeping things going.

Due to my isolation, I finished three books yesterday. And believe me, that’s a lot of coloring.

Trump Davidian, call it drivel if you like, but who’s following the antithesis of what you claim to be an inclusive Christian path? But you know it’s our story, and we tell it the way you want to. Fact is, your actions and those of your false messiah do a lot more talking than my squawking.
