Never thought I would see the day that Republicans in Congress, especially you Mikey Johnson and Tommy Tuberville, would bend down and kiss a Russian dictator’s butt. Pathetic, just pathetic.
I’m impressed how all the sanctions levied against Russia have brought them to their knees. Not.
I’m intrigued by Michael Ferguson’s column. He mentions issues with the local school system but doesn’t say what they are. Since that was a first column of three, I’ll be interested to see what else he has to say.
I never cease to be amazed at people that cannot swim getting into boats and going out into deep water, most without wearing a life vest. Why not just sit on the bank with a pistol and play Russian roulette?
Instead of two pages of What’s on TV, can we bring back Rhonda Rich and the national news page?
Hey, Code Enforcement, please start fining residents with broken-down vehicles on their property. It’s against code. When you don’t enforce it, we homeowners pay in lower property values. We need your help … be proactive.
Thursday’s editorial page was outstanding.
Leave it to Alabama to find the bottom. If IVF embryos are babies, then shouldn’t what creates them, eggs and sperm, be protected under this ruling as well? If women and hospitals are going to be held accountable for destroying life then men should be too. Men thought all they had to worry about was going blind.
Let’s make all firearms-related offenses cash bail only, with the lowest amount starting at $10,000. Juveniles included.
Well-written article by Lucille about Albany Mall. Sounds hopeful for the future. A Whole Foods would be wonderful in Sears location. Bed, Bath & Beyond, maybe.

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
After Trump was fined by the New York judge, Congresswoman MTG said the judge should be “disrobed.” I know Georgia Republicans are proud of her.
In 2022, Georgia provided $294 million in tax credits for low-income housing projects. Never enough is it since the goal posts for low-income keep moving?
Milan Patel is right about reimagining properties. What I see downtown now is Gaza. Maybe urban-scaped fields of lush collards and bushy okra with lots of EBT or cash trees would be more fitting.
I think the Atlanta DA Willis started out to dig a hole to bury Trump. It has now turned out to be a hole to bury herself in.
Hey, Carlton, during four years of Trump, the world was much more peaceful than Biden’s three years. Putin did not invade Ukraine during Trump; Ukrainians are suffering massive death and destruction. Israel was safer during Trump. Comparatively, Trump years were a dream world while Biden years are a nightmare.
