Ameris Bank is the new name-in-title sponsor of Alpharetta’s 12,000-capacity music venue, signing a multi-year agreement with Live Nation.

Hosting more than 30 events and welcoming more than 300,000 live music fans annually, the venue formerly known as Verizon Amphitheatre will now be known as the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.

“The Ameris Bank Amphitheatre underscores Ameris Bank’s commitment to supporting the arts through music, which fosters creativity, strengthens local economies and unifies communities,” a statement released by Live Nation said.

Additionally, Ameris Bank will be the entitlement sponsor of the venue’s West Fan Plaza.

“We are excited to sponsor the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, an iconic Atlanta outdoor music venue that promises concertgoers the absolute best music scene, season after season,” said Ameris Bank CEO Dennis Zember. “As an avid concertgoer myself, I’m thrilled for Ameris Bank to have this opportunity and for our city to continue benefiting from this great venue for years to come.”

“We look forward to working closely with the team at Ameris Bank to elevate their presence in the greater Atlanta region through the power of live music. This partnership will provide the brand a variety of opportunities to deepen relationships with music fans and be front and center at some of the summer’s most memorable music performances,” said Andy Peikon, SVP, Venue Sales, Live Nation.

Opening its doors in 2008, the amphitheatre attracts some of the biggest names in music, including Jimmy Buffett, Chris Stapleton, Steely Dan, Luke Bryan, Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown Band, having all performed at the venue in recent years.
