Helping Hands Ending Hunger plans food giveaway

ALBANY — Helping Hands Ending Hunger is hosting a food giveaway Wednesday sponsored by Outdoor Network for the families of students enrolled in the Dougherty County School System and for DCSS employees.

The food giveaway, which will be conducted at the Hope Center, located at the former Coca-Cola plant at 925 Pine Ave., will be a first-come, first-served event scheduled from 3-5 p.m.

Participants will be given food boxes containing meat, produce and bakery items provided by Feeding the Valley and gift cards from Food Lion.
