The city of Albany is kicking off the holiday season with the 34th annual Celebration of Lights. With the theme “Toy Land Fantasy,” the day starts with the opening of the market at 4 p.m., followed by pre-parade entertainment at 4:45 p.m. and the lighting of the tree at 5:45 p.m.

Sponsored by the Lee County Chamber of Commerce, the parade and festival is a holiday tradition in Leesburg. Following the parade the festival will be held on Starksville Avenue with vendors, entertainment, food, children’s play area and rides and more.
