APD responds to at least 41 incidents
ALBANY — Albany police responded to at least 41 incidents Monday into the early hours of Tuesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Entering auto on the 100 block of North Cherokee Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 2700 block of Pointe North Boulevard, the 900 block of Rosedale Avenue, the 1300 block of Evelyn Avenue and the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglary and motor vehicle theft on the first block of Wayne Way;
— Aggravated assault on the 700 block of South Davis Street;
— Recovered contraband, white powder in plastic bag on the 1000 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Child molestation on the 1100 block of Augusta Drive;
— Recovered property, a loaded handgun on the 100 block of Front Street;
— Forgery on the 400 block of Pine Avenue;
— Battery on the 700 block of West First Avenue;
— Burglary on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 2600 block of Gillionville Road and the 1300 block of Slappey Boulevard;
— Simple battery on the 900 block of Corn Avenue;
— Simple battery (domestic) on the 700 block of Don Cutler Senior Drive;
— Assault (domestic) on the 600 block of Bison Lane, the 300 block of South Jackson Street and the 3900 block of Radnor Forest Lane;
— Assault and trespassing on the 300 block of Slater King Jr. Drive;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 2200 block of Jewel Street, the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 500 block of North Central Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to 69 calls on Monday. There were 44 medical calls, 20 trauma calls and five other type calls.
The chief complaints of the medical calls: four chest pain, seven respiratory issues, two diabetic issues, one obstetrics, three mental health calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, one choking and 23 various medical calls. The trauma calls: 12 auto crash victims, seven falls and one lacerations. Other type calls are typically standby or transport for other agencies.
ALBANY FIRE:
Albany firefighters responded to 11 calls including:
— A structure fire, five activated alarms, two electrical shorts, an unauthorized burn, false alarm and a cardiac arrest.
