Albany Police Department investigating fatal shooting on North Slappey Boulevard
Brandon Jones, 21, was fatally shot while in a car on Monday night. Albany police are seeking 10 individuals in connection with the homicide.

ALBANY – The Albany Police Department is seeking 10 individuals for questioning in connection with the slaying of an Albany man who was fatally shot in a parking lot on North Slappey Boulevard.
Brandon Jones, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene in the 1000 block of the roadway at 8:35 p.m., Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler said. Jones was shot in the head while in the back seat of a car at the location.
“There were multiple gunshots to the right side of the car,” Fowler said.
Police responded to the area at about 8:15 p.m.
The individuals sought by the Albany Police Department are Christian Brown, Johnny Cauley, Jacarlon George, Kavon Johnson, Lamarquis Jones, Larry Lane Jr., Curtis Leverett, Jordyn Noel, Christopher Sumbry Jr. and Kemerian West, who was initially identified as “OG Scott.”
