ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 38 incidents on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 2000 block of North Harding Street;
— Simple assault (family violence) on the 1500 block of McArthur Street;
— Open containers on the 5o0 block of American Lane;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Criminal trespass (damage to property) on the 100 block of Frost Street and on the 2600 block of Kenilworth Drive;
— Loitering/prowling on the 1800 block of Sycamore Court;
— Missing person on the 400 block of Kingswood Court;
— Burglary (forced) on the 2700 block of Pointe North Boulevard;
— Marijuana possession on the 200 block of Pine Avenue and on the 500 block of Willard Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 800 block of Radium Springs Road and on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 500 block of West Highland Avenue and on the 300 block of Southwood Drive;
— Simple assault (family violence) on the 2500 block of South Washington Street and on the 100 block of North Broadway Street;
— Battery on the 1900 block of North Harding Street and on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Interference with city officers on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue and on the 400 block of Emily Avenue;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 39 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and on the 300 block of Osprey Ridge Court;
— Family violence on the 3000 block of War Eagle Avenue and on the 2200 block of Duitman Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Philema Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 5100 block of Highgate Court;
— Traffic arrest at the intersection of East Oakridge Drive and Radium Springs Road;
— Suspicious person on the 3300 block of War Eagle Avenue and on the 2300 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Drunk person on the 300 block of South County Line Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 4400 block of Sylvester Road and on the 4500 block of Gillionville Road;
— Burglary on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— Sexual assault on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Loud music on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road and on the 6000 block of Jenkins Road;
— Driving under the influence at the intersection of Sylvester Road and Hill Road;
— Deceased person on the 1700 block of Nelms Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1600 block of Dorough Avenue;
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 15 calls from Friday to Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included a building fire, EMS assistance, vehicle accidents, a Dumpster fire, an unauthorized burning, threat of a gas leak, vehicle fires, trash fires, authorized controlled burning and shorted electrical equipment.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 63 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 42 medical calls, 16 trauma calls and five other calls.
The medical calls included two chest pains, 13 respiratory issues, 10 general sicknesses, two altered mental statuses, two strokes, one diabetic and 12 miscellaneous pains. The trauma calls included six auto accident victims, five falls, two lacerations, two assaults and one traumatic injury. The other calls included two transfers, one medical alert, one Albany Civic Center standby and one stand by for a community function.
