ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 50 calls on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Driving while license suspended or revoked on the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard and on the 800 block of Gaines Avenue;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 600 block of Cherry Avenue and on the 800 block of Cameo Lane;
— Warrant service arrest on the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
— Criminal trespass on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 1600 block of Lowell Lane;
— Interfering with a city officer on the 100 block of North Front Street;
— Leaving the scene of an accident on the 2500 block of Dawson Road;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 400 block of Williams Street and on the 1000 block of Mercer Avenue;
— Burning brush/destruction or damage to material on the 2700 block of Joshua Street;
— Suspended/revoked/canceled vehicle registration on the 1500 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Safety belt violation on the 500 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 900 block of Eighth Avenue and on the 1100 block of South McKinley Street;
— Violation of a family violence order on the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Deposit account fraud/bad checks on the 200 block of Johnson Road;
— Aggravated assault on the 600 block of Stadium Drive;
— Battery on the 400 block of Wadkins Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Alice Avenue and on the 2300 block of South Madison Street;
— Simple assault (family violence) on the 400 block of Lucile Street and on the 1300 block of East First Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Driving under the influence on the 600 block of 11th Avenue and on the 1500 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Probation violation on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 400 block of Cannon Avenue;
— Harassing phone calls on the 500 block of Seventh Avenue;
— Tag light violation on the 100 block of North Broadway Street;
— Contempt of state court on the 100 block of North Jefferson Street
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 27 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Suspicious auto on the 400 block of Hancock Road and on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Assist motorist on the 900 block of Gaissert Road;
— Demented person on the 900 block of Barbragale Avenue;
— Speeding auto on the 200 block of Wade Drive and on the 2400 block of Gibson Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Osprey Ridge Court;
— Family violence on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road and on the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Loud music on the 100 block of Mockingbird Drive and on the 1800 block of Mayflower Lane;
— Pointing a gun at another at the intersection of Branch Road and Sylvester Road;
— Theft by taking on the 400 block of Philema Road;
— Auto accident on the 1500 block of River Pointe Drive and on the 4200 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Suspicious person on the 4200 block of Sylvester Road and on the 200 block of Ashwood Street.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 18 calls from Friday to Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included building fires, a passenger vehicle fire, shorted electrical equipment, outside equipment fires, a Dumpster fire, EMS assistance, vehicle accidents, a smoke scare, police assistance, scorch burns, a downed power line, brush fires and an unauthorized burning.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 67 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 62 medical calls and five trauma calls.
The medical calls included 10 miscellaneous pains, eight respiratory issues, five chest pains, four faintings, two altered mental statuses, two seizures, one stroke victim, one diabetic issue, one mental health issue and 28 various medical calls. The trauma calls included five falls.
