ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 57 incidents on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and on the 100 block of Cordele Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of Rosedale Avenue and on the 400 block of West Society Avenue;
— Family violence (unfounded) on the 500 block of Holloway Avenue and on the 800 block of Cardinal Grove Court;
— Recovered property on the 100 block of North Front Street;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 1500 block of East Roosevelt Avenue and on the 900 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 200 block of Thistle Court and on the 2000 block of Cameron Drive;
— Warrant service on the 1300 block of South Slappey Boulevard and on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Open container on the 600 block of Heard Avenue;
— Forgery in the 1st degree on the 1900 block of South Madison Street;
— Reckless conduct on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Driving under the influence on the 2800 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 2600 block of Gillionville Road;
— Marijuana possession on the 400 block of Iveys Scenic Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Grant Place and on the 100 block of North Harding Street;
— Peeping tom on the 600 block of North Washington Street;
— Rape on the 900 block of Rood Street;
— Suspended or revoked license on the 1400 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Unlawful parking on the 500 block of Cotton Avenue;
— Probation violation on the 400 block of West Tift Avenue;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 400 block of Robinson Avenue and on the 300 block of Barton Avenue;
— Theft of services on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Selling/soliciting/delivering to vehicles at the intersection of Gillionville Road and Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 39 incidents on Saturday, Sunday and the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Suspicious person on the 5600 block of Old Dawson Road and at the intersection of Liberty Expressway Southeast and McKenzie Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 1700 block of Wildflower Lane and on the 400 block of Philema Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of West Third Avenue and on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 1000 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Speeding auto at the intersection of Pinto Drive and Broach Avenue;
— 911 hang up on the 4800 block Pinto Drive and on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Theft by taking on the 600 block of Holly Drive and on the 1500 block of Liberty Expressway Southeast;
— Discharging firearms on the 200 block of Lovers Lane Road;
— Auto accident on the 3400 block of Gillionville Road and on the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Juvenile problem at the intersection of Hardup Road and Wildfair Road;
— Family violence on the 2800 block of Astoria Drive and on the 1100 block of Sweetwater Avenue;
— Road block at the intersection of Cordele Road and Pine Bluff Road;
— Assistance to a motorist on the 5400 block of Newton Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 incidents from Friday to early Monday, available reports show. The calls included building fires, a fuel spill, an electrical short, heat from a short circuit, an unauthorized burning, EMS assistance, a Haz Mat investigation and downed power lines.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 67 calls Sunday, available reports show. There were 56 medical calls and 11 trauma calls.
The medical calls included, but are not limited to, seven respiratory issues, six chest pains, five miscellaneous pains, four diabetic issues, two OB/labor issues, two altered mental statuses, one fainting, one stroke, one mental health call, one seizure and 23 various medical calls. The trauma calls included eight auto accident victims, two falls and one laceration.
