Albany City Commission decides to table pit bulldog ordinance

ALBANY — The Albany City C ommission in a 4-3 decision has delayed action on a local ordinance that places restrictions on pit bulldogs.

Just before going into a closed session this evening, the commission voted to table action on the ordinance. Commissioners Roger Marietta, B.J. Fletcher and Bobby Coleman and Mayor Dorothy Hubbard voted in favor of tabling the issue.
