Albany-Dougherty County Police/Fire/EMS reports – Oct. 31, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 18 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of Owens Avenue, the 200 block of Barfield Avenue, the 200 block of Shelby Lane, the 300 block of Tremont Drive and the 1600 block of Whisperwood Street.
— Criminal damage to property on the 400 block of Vick Street and the 300 block of Acorn Street;
— Theft by taking on the 900 block of East Broad Avenue, the 1400 block of 8th Avenue, the 2300 block of Gillionville Road and the 2300 block of Gail Avenue;
— Forgery on the 700 block of Johnson Road;
— Terrorist threats and acts on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Burglary on the 100 block of Whittlesey Court;
— Aggravated assault on the 1500 block of Palmyra Road and the 1300 block of East Society Avenue;
— Assault on the 500 block of 7th Avenue;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Domestic violence on the 4500 block of Wilder Street;
— Burglary on the 1000 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Animal control on the 900 block of Fairview Road;
— Child abuse on the 2900 block of Lindsay Avenue;
— Theft on the 2700 block of Sanborn Drive;
— Theft (motor vehicle) on the 1600 block of Moultrie Road;
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Tuesday, available records show. Calls included alarm system activations, smoke detector activations, outside equipment fire, EMS assist and cooking fire.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 50 calls on Tuesday, available records show. There were 44 medical calls and six trauma calls.
The medical calls included five respiratory issue calls, four chest pain calls, three mental health calls, three miscellaneous pain call, two diabetic issued calls, one altered mental status call, one faint call and 25 various medical calls.
The trauma calls included three falls, two assault calls and one auto accident victim.
