ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by taking on the 300 block of Hudson Lane;
— Criminal trespass on the 1800 block of East Broad Avenue, the 1200 block of Kingstown Court, the 100 block of Marie Road, the 1100 block of Auburn Avenue, the 3600 block of Shannon Drive and the 2700 block of Cambridge Road;
— Forgery on the 1000 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Battery on the 1900 block of North Hardy Street and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Burglary on the 400 block of Bobbitt Drive, the 2000 block of Leonard Avenue and the 2300 block of Newton Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Cordele Road, the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 2000 block of Leonard Avenue;
— Driving on suspended license on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Missing person on the 1500 block of East Residence Avenue;
— Open container on the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Entering auto on the 300 block of South Mock Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Demented person on the 6100 block of Jenkins Road;
— Traffic arrest on the 900 block of West Oakridge Drive and the 4000 block of Philema Road;
— Discharging firearms on the 1700 block of Antioch Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 4500 block of Gillionville Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2400 block of Cherry Laurel Lane;
— Criminal trespass on the the 1600 block of Cordele Road;
— Auto accident with injuries on the 3000 block of Leary Road;
— Animal call on the 2900 block of Swallow Avenue and the intersection of Harris Road and Kirksey Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included an overheated motor, water leak, alarm system activations, EMS call, arching electrical equipment, gas leak and a medical assist to EMS.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 77 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included 11 miscellaneous pain complaints, four seizures, three chest pain complaints, seven respiratory issues, three altered mental status calls, three diabetic issues, two cardiac arrests and one fainting.
Trauma calls included eight auto accident victims and seven falls.
Other type calls included one stand-by for the Albany Fire Department, three medical alert assists, one stand-by for the Albany Police Department and one stand-by for a school function event.
