Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – April 16, 2014

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 37 incidents on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Entering auto on the 300 block of Meadowlark Drive, the 500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1300 block of 10th Avenue, the 800 block of Dorsett Avenue and the 500 block of South Jefferson Street;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2000 block of Lucille Street, the 600 block of Swift Street and the 900 block of Mercedes Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 500 block of South Jefferson Street, the 300 block of West Highland Avenue, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive, the 2200 block of Habersham Road, the 300 block of West 2nd Avenue and the 1100 block of 9th Avenue;

— Harassing phone calls on the 900 block of South Harding street;

— Missing person on the 100 Block of Whittlesey Court and the 900 block of Jolley Court;

— Reckless conduct on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Theft by taking on the 1200 block of Schley Avenue, the 2000 block of Clark Avenue, the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue, the 1200 block of Wyandette Drive, the 600 block of Holland Drive, the 1000 block of East Tift Avenue, the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 1400 block of Gillionville Road, the 500 block of Meadowlark Lane and the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

— Burglary on the 300 block of Carriage Lane, the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle, the 400 block of Edgewood Lane and the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Battery on the 1700 block of Gadsden Drive;

— Loitering on the 800 block of West Highland Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 21 incidents on Monday, available reports show. The calls included:

— Burglar alarm on the the 800 block of Grambling Court;

— Blocked road on the 4600 block of Gillionville Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 3000 block of Woodridge Court;

— Fraud on the 2700 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Theft on the the 1300 block of McKenzie Street;

— Abandoned vehicle on the 4800 block of of Pinto Drive;

— Family violence on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 200 block of North County Line Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Monday. Calls included public service, EMS calls, gas leak, cooking fire, unuathorized burn, grass fire and smoke detector activation.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 54 calls on Monday. The calls included 34 medical calls and 20 trauma calls.

The medical calls included four respiratory issues, three miscellaneous pains, two faintings, two diabetic issues, one seizure, one mental health issue and 19 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included 12 auto accident victims and eight falls.
