ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Battery on the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive, the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue, the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and the 1200 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Aggravated assault with intent to rape a child less than 14 years of age on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Interfering with a city officer on the 1100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 300 block of Johnson Road and the 1400 block of Dawson Road;

— Wanted person on the 100 block of South Monroe Street;

— Theft by taking on the 1500 block of Rogers Street, the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue and the 800 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 1000 block of McKinley Street and the 600 block of Tulsa Lane;

— Possession of firearm or knife in commission of a crime on the 600 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property on the 100 block of North West Road;

— Unlawful use of 911 emergency telephone on the 200 block of East Road.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Abandoned auto on the 2100 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Assist to motorist on the 5700 block of Newton Road;

— Unwanted guest on the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue;

— Animal running at large on the 900 block of Westview Drive;

— Burglary in progress on the 300 block of Pinebluff Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of South Mock Road and the 600 block of Hardwood Lane;

— Speeding auto at the intersection of Sylvester Road and Ramsey Road;

— Family violence on the 1400 block of South Mock Road and the 2200 block of Howard Drive;

— Auto accident on the 4600 block of Palm Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 4200 block of Nichols Street.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included a fire prevention program, smoke detector activation, EMS call, medical assist to EMS, building fire, animal rescue, burning tent, sparking water heater and a barbecue cooker fire.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 54 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included four miscellaneous pain complaints, four seizures, three altered mental status calls, three chest pain complaints, six respiratory issues, three strokes, two mental health issues and two cardiac arrests.

Trauma calls included four falls, two lacerations, one auto accident victims and one assault.
