Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – April 4, 2014

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 37 incidents on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Entering auto on the 2500 block of Canterbury Court, the 2300 block of Schley Avenue, and the 100 block of Front Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 500 block of Louis Avenue and the 300 block of South Jackson Street;
— Unruly child on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Battery on the 1700 block of South Jackson Street, the 1400 block of South Harding Street, the 200 block of Arbor Court the 3700 block of Old Dawson Road, the 500 block of Cotton Avenue and the 2500 block of Olivia Street;
— Wanted person on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 200 block of Edward Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Don Cutler Drive, the 1200 block of Colquitt Avenue, the 500 block of South Cleveland Street, the 2000 block of East Broad Avenue and the 700 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Possession of marijuana on the 1300 block of 10th Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road, the 100 block of West 5th Avenue, the 2400 block of Beachview Drive, the 2200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 400 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 3200 block of Winterwood Avenue;
— Theft by deception on the 900 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Burglary on the the 700 block of Jordan Avenue and the 2000 block of McAdams Drive;
— Aggravated assault on the 1200 block of Edgerly Avenue;
— Driving on suspended license on the 200 block of Cason Street;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 100 block of West Oglethrope Boulevard;
— Public indecency on the 500 block of South Cleveland Street;
DOUGHERTY COUNTY: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to nine incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Drug investigation on the 2700 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Family violence on the 400 block of Philema Road and the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Follow-up of criminal trespass investigation on the 1400 block of Mock Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Loud music on the 800 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Auto alarm at the intersection of Mock and Pearce Roads;
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Tuesday. Calls included downed power line, smoke detector activations, EMS call, alarm system activations, smoke scare, heat from short circuit, alarm system activation and medical assist to EMS.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 67 calls on Tuesday. The calls included 47 medical calls, 18 trauma calls and two stand-by calls for the Marine Base Disaster Drill.
The medical calls included eight chest pain calls, eight respiratory issue calls, five miscellaneous pain calls, three altered mental status calls, two faint calls, two seizure calls, one cardiac arrest call and 17 various medical calls.
The trauma calls included 10 auto accident victims, four falls, two lacerations and two assaults.
