ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Possession of marijuana on the 700 block of South South Slappey Boulevard;
— Obstruction of law enforcement on the 500 block of Alice Avenue;
— Battery on the 1500 block of McArthur Avenue and the 1600 block of Madison Street;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1600 block of Sunny Lane;
— Theft of lost of mislaid property on the 2000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Driving on suspended license on the 1600 block of East Broad Avenue, the 300 block of Cason Street and the 1900 block of South Jackson Street;
— Failure to maintain lane on the 100 block of Cason Street;
— Wanted person on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Theft by taking on the 2400 block of Habersham Road, the 900 block of Willow Wood Court, the 1800 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 300 block of Independence Drive;
— Computer theft on the 2500 block of Forsythe Street;
— Entering auto on the 1100 block of West Lincoln Avenue and the 700 block of Willard Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Lost or mislaid property on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Speeding in school zone on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Open container on the 300 block of 2nd Avenue;
— Burglary on the 100 block of School Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Auto accident on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Criminal trespass on the 3900 block of Sylvester Highway and the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Inhumane treatment of animal on the 2300 block of Austin Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 incidents on Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included overheated brakes, public service, motor vehicle accident, alarm system activations, medical assist to EMS, water leak, gas leak and building fire.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 81 incidents on Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included four chest pain calls, 12 respiratory issues, two seizures, five miscellaneous pain calls, two diabetic issues, five altered mental status calls, five faintings, three mental health issues and 28 various medical calls.
Trauma calls included six auto accident victims, six falls, three assaults and two lacerations.
