Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – July 21 – 22, 2015

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 34 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Aggravated assault on the 1700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Recovered property on the 2200 block of Beachview Drive and the 1300 block of Evelyn Avenue;

— Possession of synthetic marijuana on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Family violence on the 900 block of West Mercer Avenue;

— Missing person on the 800 block of West 1st Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of McArthur Street, the 3100 block of Graystone Lane, the 700 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 300 block of Clark Avenue and the 200 block of Shelby Lane;

— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of West Roosevelt Avenue and the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;

— Theft by taking on the 1600 block of Gillionville Road, the 1000 block of Rosedale Avenue, the 10 block of Sutton Place, the 2400 block of West Alberson Drive, the 300 block of Flintside Drive and the 400 block of West Tift Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 500 block of South Van Buren Street and the 1800 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Driving without insurance on the 1700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 2300 block of Lake Park Drive, the 2300 block of East Doublegate Drive and the 1300 block of 6th Avenue;

— Identification fraud on the 1300 block of Gail Avenue;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 400 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 400 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 700 block of 9th Avenue;

— Missing person on the 400 block of Faith Avenue;

— Theft of lost or misplaced property on the 1500 block of McArthur Street;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2400 block of Clark Avenue;

— Harassing phone calls on the 600 block of 16th Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 21 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

—Family violence on the 1500 block of Cordele Road and the 200 block of Paige Street;

— Burglary on the 2200 block of Duitman Road;

— Terroristic threats on the 4400 block of Wilder Street;

— Traffic arrest on the 2500 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Unwanted guest on the 1700 block of Nelms Road;

— Suspicious person on the 2300 block of Sanborn Avenue;

— Animal call on the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive and the 2600 block of Homestead Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 3200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Assist to motorist on the 6500 block of Leary Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Auto accident on the 2600 block of Cordele Road and the intersection of Winifred Road and Van Cise Lane;

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included public service, alarm system activations, medical assist to EMS, downed power line, assist to Albany police and motor vehicle accident with injuries.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 53 various medical calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents include six miscellaneous pain complaints, two respiratory issues, two seizures, two faintings, one mental health issue, three chest pain complaints, five altered mental status calls, one cardiac arrest, three OB/labor calls, and 23 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included two auto accident victims and two falls.

Other type calls included one presentation for the Show and Tell Daycare program.
