Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – July, 24 – 25, 2015

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Friday and the early hours of Saturday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Possession of a controlled substance on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Possession of marijuana on the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Family violence on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 800 block of Cotton Avenue and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Theft by taking on the 100 block of Wells Avenue, the 300 block of Cordele Road, the 500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 700 block of Cotton Avenue and the 600 block of Holloway Avenue;

— Open container on the 1500 block of Clark Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 100 block of Wells Avenue, the 400 block of Pine Avenue and the 1000 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;

— Burglary on the 1300 block of South Mock Road, the 1400 block of West Whitney Avenue and the 2200 block of Taft Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue, the 2400 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 400 block of Heard Avenue and the 1200 block of Mulberry Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the the 700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Friday and the early hours of Saturday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Abandoned auto on the 4800 block of Leary Road;

— Animal call on the 2900 block of Thrasher Avenue, the 6000 block of Elliot Drive and the 6000 block of James Drive;

— Traffic control on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;

— Auto accident on the 1600 block of Moultrie Road and the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Family violence on the 5600 block of Newton Road and the 6000 block of Elliot Drive;

— Domestic dispute on the 900 block of Nelms Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 3700 block of Blue Springs Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 2400 block of Liberty Expressway and the 2300 block of Sanborn Avenue;

— Suspicious person on the 500 block of Philema Road and the 2200 block of Duitman road;

— Entering auto on the the 2400 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Unwanted guest on the 5600 block of Newton Road.
