Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – March 18-19, 2015

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 40 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Theft by taking on the 2100 block of Lennox Avenue, the 500 block of American Lane, the 1300 block of 9th Avenue, the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 2400 block of Westgate Drive;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1100 block of West Waddell Avenue, the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 2000 block of North Jefferson Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of Sands Drive, the 900 block of Corn Avenue, the 700 block of Gilbert Drive, the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Possession of marijuana on the 1700 block of Pineknoll Lane and the 700 block of North Davis Street;

— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of Alice Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of Corn Avenue;

— Terroristic threats on the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Identification fraud on the 2900 block of Meredyth Drive and the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of Alice Avenue and the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

— Burglary on the 400 block of Cannon Drive, the 200 block of Cone Street, the 1200 block of Parker Avenue and the 500 block of Park Lane;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1300 block of Clark Avenue, the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 400 block of 4th Avenue;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 200 block of West Roosevelt Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 3500 block of Wicklow Road, the 2600 block of Northgate Drive and the 2600 block of Shannon Road;

— Public indecency on the 1100 block of South McKinley Street;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Forgery on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Robbery by force on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Reckless conduct on the 200 block of West Tift Avenue’

— Battery on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 23 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Suspicious person on the 800 block of Pinto Drive, the 4800 block of Millbrooke Road and the 2300 block of Pendleton Street;

— Discharging firearms on the 3900 block of Gravel Hill Road;

— Speeding auto on the 600 block of Pine Glen Drive;

— Hit and run accident on the 400 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Family violence on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road and the 3000 block of East Park Court;

— Criminal trespass on the 1700 block of River Pointe Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included extrication of victim from vehicle, public service, assist to police, grass and brush fire mix, building fire, alarm system activation and an EMS call.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 72 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included four chest pain calls, 10 respiratory issues, six miscellaneous pain calls, two strokes, two diabetic issues, two seizures, one OB/labor issue, and 64 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included five falls, one auto accident victim and one assault.
