Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – March 3 – 4, 2015

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Open container on the 800 block of North Jefferson Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of Shirley Avenue, the 2200 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1400 block of South Van Buren Street and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of 10th Avenue, the 500 block of South Davis Street and the 700 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 1500 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 2400 block of Rosebrier Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Aggravated assault on the 2500 block of South Washington Street;

— Missing person on the 500 block of Emily Avenue;

— Harassing phone calls on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road;

— Possession of marijuana on the 700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of 16th Avenue;

— Terroristic threats on the 400 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 1100 block of West Broad Avenue, the 1900 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 2300 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 800 block of Farrell Court.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 24 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Theft on the 600 block of Heartwood Lane;

— Missing person on the 2500 block of Toni Lynne Lane;

— Traffic arrest at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Holly Drive;

— Suspicious person on the 500 block of Southgate Avenue;

— Family violence on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 1500 block of Dorough Avenue, the 400 block of Philema Road and the intersection of Sylvester Highway and North County Line Road;

— Unwanted guest on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Child abuse on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;

— Auto accident on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway and the 1400 block of Old Pretoria Road;

— Animal at large on the 2400 block of Kirksey Road;

— Wanted person on the 1700 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included fire safety program, unauthorized burning, detector activations, alarm system activations, gas leak, medical assist to EMS and public service.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 74 incidents on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included six chest pain calls, five respiratory issues, two seizures, 11 miscellaneous pain calls, six diabetic issues, four cardiac arrests, two altered mental status calls, three faintings, and 30 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included three auto accident victims, one fall and one pedestrian struck by vehicle.
