Albany-Dougherty Police/Fire/EMS reports – March 31 – April 1, 2015

ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 41 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Burglary on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1000 block of Davidson Drive, the 2400 block of Nottingham Way, the 1400 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 400 block of Carver Avenue, the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 200 block of South Carroll Street;

— Battery on the 900 block of Tift Avenue, the 2000 block of Flintlock Drive and the 400 block of Cherry Avenue;

— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of Rood Street, the 500 block of 7th Avenue, the 700 block of North Madison Street and the 300 block of Grant Place;

— Loitering and prowling on the the 700 block of 9th Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 6100 block of Johnson Road, the 100 block of North Frost Street and the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue;

— Missing person on the 300 block of Tremont Avenue and the 300 block of Grant Place;

— Entering auto on the 1300 block of McKinley Avenue and the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road and the 3900 block of Rodner Forest Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 500 block of North Westover Road,the 900 block of West 1st Avenue, the 900 block of West Society Avenue, the 100 block of Stepping Stone Lane, the 800 block of West Residence Avenue, the 100 block of Logan Court and the 1900 block of Edgewood Lane;

— Possession of marijuana on the 400 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 200 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Aggravated assault on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 100 block of Cordele Road and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft of lost or mislaid property on the 100 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Driving on suspended license on the 100 block of Dewey Street;

— Identity fraud on the 5200 block of Autumn Lane.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Fraud on the 3600 block of Quail Hollow Road;

— Auto accident on the 2200 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Suspicious auto on the 400 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Animal running at large on the 1300 block of McKenzie Road;

— Suspicious auto on the 2800 block of Spelman Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 incidents Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included smoke detector activations, building fire, unauthorized burning, motor vehicle accident, vehicle accident, medical assist to EMS, spilled gasoline and EMS call.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 59 incidents on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included seven miscellaneous pain calls, six chest pain calls, five respiratory issues, two faintings, one diabetic issue and 16 various medical calls.

Trauma calls included 12 auto accident victims, seven falls and one assault.

Other type calls included one medical alert assistance call.
