ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Speeding on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road and the 1500 block of Dawson Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Battery on the 900 block of Desota Street and the 1900 block of South Skyline Drive;

— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Collins Street, the 1500 block of Alabama Avenue and the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;

— Possession of marijuana on the 600 block of Gaines Avenue;

— Driving on suspended license on the 1700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Theft by taking on the 800 block of Byron Road;

— Criminal damage to property on the 500 block of Swift Street;

— Recovered property on the 100 block of North Skyline Drive and the 100 block of North Broadway Street;;

— Cruelty to animals on the 800 block of Corn Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 700 block of Cantrell Lane;

— Public indecency on the 400 block of South Harding Street;

— Open container-alcohol on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Assist to motorist on the 3900 block of Quail Hollow Road, the 3600 block of Spring Flats Road and the intersection of Moultrie Road and Mock Road;

— Auto accident on the 3800 block of Gillionville Road and the 300 block of Old Pretoria Road;

— Animal call at the intersection of Radium Springs Road and Strout Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue;

— Missing person on the 1400 block of Lily Pond Road;

— Suspicious person on the 2900 block of Clark Avenue, the 3100 block of Plains Drive and the intersection of Dorough Avenue and Palm Avenue;

— Lost property on the 500 block of Liberty Expressway and the 3700 block of Victory Street;

— Family violence at the 1000 block of James Cross Avenue and the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Animal running at large on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive;

— Animal investigation on the 4800 block of Mustang Drive and the 3700 block of Sylvester Highway.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 15 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included a smoke detector activation, an animal rescue, motor vehicle accidents with injuries, a removal of odor, a smoke detector activation, unauthorized burning, a water leak, and alarm system activations.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 60 various medical calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included three chest pain complaints, six miscellaneous pain calls, seven respiratory issues, one altered mental status call, two mental health issues, one seizure, one stroke, six diabetic calls, and 21 various medical issues.

Trauma calls included six auto accident victims, four falls, one laceration and one assault.
