Albany police charges two additional suspects in March homicide

ALBANY – The final two suspects of six identified in the March 18 shooting death of Antwan Penn have been taken into custody, the Albany Police Department announced.

Zaydren Thomas, 20, and Donnellius Thomas, 22, have now been arrested in the case.

Penn was shot several times while traveling in his car on the 1100 block of South Cleveland Street, according to police.

Also arrested and charged with murder were Mekhi Parks, 18, Montrez Nix, 17, Brian Massey Jr. and Nicholas Collier, both 15.

The case remains under investigation, police said.
