Albany Police Department issues wanted person alert

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department is soliciting the public’s help in locating an individual connected to a theft that took place last month.

Vickie Green, 37, is wanted for theft by conversion and theft by deception. Police officials say that on Oct. 2 someone reported that Green had sold his 1983 Ford Club wagon to a recycling company without his permission.

Green is approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs about 225 pounds. She has a dark complexion with black hair and brown eyes. There is also an outstanding warrant out on her for a theft by shoplifting charge.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to call the APD at (229) 431-2100 or Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477).

Crime Stoppers is an anonymous tipline. Those who use it are eligible for a cash reward when the tip results in an arrest or conviction.
