Albany police make additional arrest in July 5 shootout at Albany night spot

ALBANY – An Albany man has been arrested in connection with a July 5 shootout outside a nightclub that left one man dead and three others wounded.

Jateyveon Decorric Kimbrough, 25, was arrested and charged on Saturday with aggravated assault following a traffic stop, the Albany Police Department announced.

Police are also seeking Ricardriana Sha’toya Sloan, 22, in connection with a fight that occurred at the 312 Thornton Drive Reflextions Lounge. According to police, a fight inside the establishment preceded an exchange of gunfire outside that left 21-year-old Daveyon Wakefield dead at the scene.

The three wounded individuals were bystanders who were not involved in the eruption of gunfire in which nearly 80 rounds of 9mm, .40-caliber and .45-caliber ammunition were fired.

Earlier, police arrested Donnell Germain Thomas, 19, who was charged with murder.

Cosha Zyemma Brown, 19, and Lakeisha Wingfield, 21, have been charged with affray, and Jayquan Levante Miller, 26, has been charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
