Albany police seek assault suspect

ALBANY — Quantavious Cortez Thomas is wanted by the gang unit of the Albany Police Department in connection with an assault case occurring at 2501 South Jackson Street on March 3.
Officials say Thomas is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of crime. Thomas, 31, is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall with a weight of 229 pounds. Officials say his last known address is 2201 Grady St. in Albany.
Anyone with information regarding Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to call the Albany Police Department at (229) 431-2100 and leave a message for Investigator Maria Perez. Information can also be phoned to Albany Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477).
