Albany public information meeting will focus on sewage/stormwater separation project

ALBANY – The city of Albany will hold a public education meeting on April 17 to discuss the city’s combined sewer overflow separation program.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Thornton Gym, 210 Thornton Drive.
The city is in the process of separating its stormwater and sanitary waste discharges. The city has until June 2025 to achieve 85% separation or will face steep daily fines.
