Albany town hall meeting on community services

ALBANY — Jon Howard, Ward I City Commissioner, is presenting information on Saturday to inform the Albany community of programs to help low- to moderate-income residents with home repairs and community services.

According to Howard, speakers at the Town Hall meeting will include staff from the Albany Planning and Development Services, the Department of Community & Economic Development, Albany Community Together (ACT) and Flint River Habitat for Humanity.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m at the East Albany Community Center located at 1721 E. Oglethorpe Blvd. and last about 90 minutes, Howard said.
