Auditions set for ASU, Darton collaborative play

ALBANY — Theater buffs are urged to head to Darton College Theater next week to audition for the upcoming stage production of “A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer.”

Tryouts are set for 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Monday at the theater, with callbacks at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

A collaboration between Darton and Albany State University, “A Memory” is intended to raise awareness of violence against women and girls. Proceeds from the upcoming production will benefit Liberty House of Albany.

“Sign up for an audition time on the door of the Darton College Humanities building office No. F-103,” states a news release. “Male and female students and faculty from both campuses are encouraged to attend.”

Performances of the production are scheduled for March 5-6.
