“Thanks to the generous outpouring of donations and runners of this community, two military warriors with PTSD will receive service dogs and three weeks of training at K9s for Warriors in Florida. The annual Barney’s Run, held this past Saturday at Marine Corps Logistics Base, was an inspiring success. Kudos to donors, to the runners, volunteers, and the annual sponsors of the event — St, Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Deerfield Windsor Cross Country team. What a Bright Side tribute to this nation’ s brave men and women warriors who go in harm’s way for us and our freedom!”
