Burglar steals drug and takes a hit at location

ALBANY, Ga. — A burglar broke into Premier Orthopedics on Osler Court at Meredyth Drive at about 9 p.m. Wednesday. The burglar needed a fix and evidence showed he injected morphine while in the office, according to Albany Police Department reports.

Without details regarding any needle left at the scene, Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman said there was a possibility DNA could be collected and used as evidence.
