CONSTRUCTION

Stephen Dew has been named president and chief executive officers of Pellicano Construction of Albany.

Dew has been an employee of Albany-based Pellicano Construction for 13 years and has served as the company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO) since 2003.

“Stephen’s relentless work ethic accompanied with his dedication and vision for the future makes this an easy decision to lead our company moving forward,” said Pellicano Construction Chairman Tony Pellicano.

Pellicano will remain chairman of the board of the company and will also remain active in the company’s long-range and strategic planning initiatives.

BANKING

Scott Tomlinson, president and CEO of Flint Community Bank, has been elected to the board of directors and treasurer of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia.

The CBA is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving community banks throughout Georgia for more than 45 years to enhance their profitability and growth. The CBA was formed to protect the political interests of locally-owned community banks and today represents 180 community banks and nearly 200 associate member companies. The Association offers services in four distinct areas, which include political affairs, education, products & services and networking.

Board members are selected from 10 divisions across Georgia. Tomlinson was chosen for a one-year term.
