Calhoun County Harvest Festival returns

MORGAN — Southwest Georgians looking to “harvest” a good time should head to Morgan this weekend for the 17th annual Calhoun County Harvest Festival.

The free event is scheduled for 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday at the Harvest Festival Grounds.

Festivities will kick off at 9 a.m. with a parade.

The day will include a custom car show, rides, live entertainment, arts and crafts and food.

Saturday’s festival will close with a street dance slated for 7 p.m.-11 p.m. featuring music provided by B.J. Taylor and Confederate Edge.
